		<description>SHADOWS OF TOMORROW

Poster series showcasing the essence of a song lyric through expressive typography. The chosen lyric alludes to the relationship between the
past, present, and future, and is the last line spoken in the song. By eliminating the word "tomorrow" from the lyric, a commentary is made
of the non-existence of that moment in time.

Shadows of Tomorrow, Madvillain, Madvillainy (2004)

		<description>EMPIRE

Empire is an exhibit presented by fictional company True York City in partnership with the Gladstone Gallery. It is an exploration of both
the ephemerality of corporate identities, and the relationship between
analog and digital creation. Typographic “signatures” from famous
New York companies are isolated, altered, and reappropriated as
metaphors of a breakdown of corporate control, giving an aesthetic
to the fragmented structure of big business in the Empire State.

		<description>ASIAIR

Brand and process book for Asiair, a fictional airline based in Seoul, Korea. The fun, affordable airline uses traditional Korean symbolism, bright colours and witty copy to convey a friendly personality to its passengers; yet, it maintains a sense of professionalism and strength within the brand through a structured design approach.

		<description>HEAVY

Poster designed to showcase my personal list of go-to display faces.
Contrasted with quotes about light from individuals including Bob Marley,
Helen Keller, Thomas Gray, and Joseph Campbell, the typefaces are all
set in bold or heavy weights. The method of printing black-on-black
also adds to the "heavy" nature of the typefaces, and adds a unique
textural element to the letterforms themselves.
